What do you do if you try connecting to a biller and it never connects?

I am trying to connect to a biller, Denver Water, and every time I add my credentials it accepts them and then spins for a while and then goes away without any notification. How can I connect to the biller?

The only thing I can think of is to keep trying from time-to-time to see if the connection can be made.
The connect to biller is a 3rd party service provided by QS. I don't currently have any of my billers connected to QS. In the past I was successful at connecting to 3 or maybe 4 billers but the monthly update was spotty for a couple of them and one wouldn't stay functionally connected. In the end, it didn't make a lot of difference. I have a good idea of the seasonal variability of the few billers that this feature would be useful for, like my utility providers (water, electric, natural gas), and I plan accordingly. But all the rest of my recurring monthly bills are fixed amounts so connecting to the biller doesn't add anything to the functionality of QS.

Oh, and welcome to Quicken Simplifi, @TiggerTrainer. I've been using QS for 3 years and find that for me it is the best personal finance management tool of all the ones I've tried including Quicken Classic which, like you, I used for many years.

The first few times: chat with support, find out that there's a temporary (or not so temporary) issue with that biller, then give up.
After that: give up.
I do not have a single biller that works. I used to have one but it stopped working and support didn't know why. For bills that vary I just manually update the reminder when I get the bill and know what the amount will be on the due date (or autopay date).

Honestly I find it more frustrating when a biller is on the list but doesn't work, than if it just wasn't on the list. Like that I wouldn't spend time fussing with it over and over in case I did something wrong or this time it'll work.
