Multiple Xfers to Same Brokerage But Different Accounts - How to Setup Recurring?

I contribute (transfer) funds into 8 custodial investment accounts monthly.

  1. The transfers are initiated on the brokerage firm's side.
  2. These transfers are all initiated on the 1st of each month by my broker and are processed by my bank on that same day.
  3. The problem is that these transactions show up in my checking account register with the exact same Payee name with no unique identifiers.
  4. QS does correctly identify these transactions as transfers (all accounts are connected to QS).
  5. Since all the Payee names are the same and the amount of the transfers are the same, I am having trouble figuring out how to set up recurring transfer reminders for these transactions.
    1. I created a recurring series for one.
    2. When I tried to create series for the next one Simplifi "merged" it with the first series and didn't add a second series, etc.
  6. Same with creating a rule to tell QS how to categorize these transactions.

Anyone else have something similar going on? How are you handling it?

Note:

Today I signed into my account at my brokerage and changed the transfer dates to a unique day for each transfer to stagger when these transactions show up in my bank account. My thought is to then create a recurring transfer for each transaction based on the day of the month since there is no way to distinguish these transactions based on the data provided by the bank.

Two problems I anticipate: First, that when the transfer date falls on a non-business day, the transfer will be put off until the next business day and this will cause some of these transfers to land on the same day in my cash account. Second, I still need to figure out a way to tell QS which brokerage account to assign the transfer to. I'm not certain this can be done via the Recurring Series set up and will require a Rule.

I'll see how it goes.
