Transactions showing don't match my bank balance.

I am new to Quicken Simplify and it appears that the bank balance shown in the dashboard is correct; however, but latest transactions are missing some of the last transactions.

Are some transactions hidden for some reason? The dashboard attachment shows the current balance of all of the transactions that have cleared: $1,451.89. The transaction attachment shows all of the cleared checks in Quicken Simplify and the posted attachment shows all of the checked cleared the bank.

However, now I can now see that all of the checks are listed but in a different order than the bank.

Is there anyway to effect the sorting other than by clicking on one column that would end up with the same order as then cleared the bank?

    Well, first, keep in mind that when you have a connected account, the balance shown in Simplifi will always be what the bank says it is, and this won't have anything to do with the cleared transactions. Because Simplifi ignores cleared transactions. It just subtracts pending transactions from the cleared balance to let you know how much money you actually have to spend right now.

    Secondly, the database is going to put the transactions in as they are downloaded or you enter them. This too has to do with how the bank orders them as well as something to do with alphabetization.

    As for sorting them, you are correct that you can sort by date or by payee but not how the bank site has them. If you put in a starting balance (cleared), then you can choose all the transactions and this starting balance, and it should match your current balance. If not, then you have a missing transaction.

    Simplifi is designed so you don't have to worry about that so much, but, of course, if you are missing transactions, your Spending Plan and reports won't be as accurate. It sounds like you weren't actually missing transactions, right?

    It sounds like you are on the right track. There aren't any hidden transactions. You can exclude transactions if you like from Spending Plan and/or Reports, but they still show up in the transactions list.
