Spending Plan doesn't recognize third level categories

As mentioned above the spending plan is not adding transactions that are in the third level of a category tier. In my pictures below I have Gaming as a sub-category of Hobbies and that is a sub-category of Shopping (Shopping → Hobbies → Gaming) but it's displaying in the other spending section of the Spending Plan.

Hello @Then13,
Thank you for letting us know you're seeing this issue. Is this happening with only one transaction, or with multiple? When did you first notice this issue? Which web browser are you using? I tried to replicate the issue, but the issue didn't happen in my Quicken Simplifi.
If you haven't already done so, please try logging out of the app, then logging back in again, and check to see if the issue is resolved.
I look forward to your response!

Hey @Coach Kristina,
I noticed it shortly before that post. It does do that with multiple transactions in the gaming category. I am using the google chrome app and the iPhone app. I have tried logging in and out of both and this issue is still there.0 -
Hello @Then13,
Thanks for the reply. After verifying on our side, it does look like this behavior is by design within Other Spending in the Spending Plan. Third and second-level categories will roll up to the main category within Other Spending. If you feel like this should not be the case, I would suggest creating an idea post requesting that third and second-level categories should be able to be displayed within Other Spending.

Good morning @Coach Jon,
After reviewing your response and my post I realized I did not state my issue clearly. The problem is on the Planned Spending section of Spending Plan. It appears that any Expense in that section does not correctly add third level categories to its calculation even if the expense is set up to monitor the highest level (in my case it would be Shopping). For example, if I change the the category from Gaming to Hobbies it will get correctly added to my General Shopping Expense. I find it difficult to believe this is correct behavior.

UPDATE: That specific category was broken, the other sub categories worked as expected. Deleting and recreating it fixed the issue

Glad you got it fixed. I have been afraid to try sub-sub categories since they didn't work well before. I may try one again some day.
