Chase pending charges aren't deleting from Simplifi when gone. Reset Won't Work

I have an ongoing issue where pending charges at Chase in Simplifi are not being removed when they clear at Chase and no long appear as pending @ Chase.
To work through it, I cleared browser everything, logged out of all, and tried to reset the connection to Chase. However, this process fails after going through the authentication process with Simplifi telling me I already have accounts at this institution. Yeah. I know! I am trying to reset.
Anyone else having this issue? My expectation on a reset is that I would be prompted to match the download accounts with the existing accounts in Simplifi, as I have gotten in the past, but this is not happening right now.

I suggest you make the Chase account manual, go to chase.com and remove access to Quicken. Then go to Add an account and when you work through the authentication, make sure you link the Chase account to the now manual Chase account so you don't end up with 2 Chase Accounts.
Also, to clean up your account, I assume you have tried to merge the old pending with the now cleared transactions. And you can if you need to do so delete the now superfluous pending transactions.
Just for our information, is your Chase account a credit card or a banking account?
Here is a support article for linking an account once you've made it manual:

I've done all this. After going through this process, the stale pending transactions remain. I am going to manually delete them and see what happens.
This is a credit card. Quite frankly "Reset connection" should work. It did/does in Quicken Classic.

I think reset may work to stop errors from happening again, but it won't delete any pending (or cleared for that matter) transactions that are already in your register. They are there until matched or deleted.
