Personal Taxes Report 'Export to CSV' to allow for proper sorting in the spreadsheet

Having Tax Reports is great. Upon an export to CSV, the export comes in mimicking the report as displayed on Desktop computer.
I usually create a CSV so I can:
- sort the spreadsheet at the column level
- Create pivot tables if needed
- hand an edited spreadsheet over to accountants
- check for accuracy (like finding my errors in categorization, missing entries etc)
Missing from the data is a date column. Dates facilitate the ability to check for accuracy during sorts.
To do any of the above, I need a sortable spreadsheet. As currently exported, sorting by an entire column will pretty much make the spreadsheet unusable. Again, as is, its just a spreadsheet that is organized like the displayed report in QS. If the purpose of this was to print a PDF from the sheet, I wonder out loud if QS would add an export to PDF function as well.

Hello @Max1223,
Thanks for reaching out and providing feedback! I went ahead and converted your post into an idea post to add a Date Column to the Personal Taxes Report 'Export to CSV' option. This way, you and other users can vote for this idea to be implemented in Quicken Simplifi and follow the thread for updates.

@Coach Jon sorry, but I'm not asking for a Date column, I'm asking to be able to export a complete CVS that allows for proper sorting.
I changed the title as such.

Thanks for trying out the new feature @Max1223 . Just to make sure we understand the request - it seems you want the actual transactions (and most of their detail) as part of the report? This is a new feature and we are committed to making sure we get it just how you all would like it so we appreciate all the feedback.

@Coach Kristen Yes, much like a CSV export from a Report or from the Transaction tabs. Those exports fill out all rows and cells to create a fully sortable spreadsheet. It would be great to have just the tax related items in an export.

Got it, thanks! We'll get this on the list.

@Coach Kristen thanks for putting it on the list, wondering if the title could be edited to something more like
"Personal Taxes Report 'Export to CSV' to allow for complete data set"
Sorting is a function that can only be done if I'm provided a complete set of data in the export, so all rows and columns have entries, like an export done in other areas of QS, Reports, Transactions.

@Coach Jon can the title of this post be changed to "Personal Taxes Report 'Export to CSV' to allow for complete data set"?
Ultimately, I want to sort but to do that the data set from the export has to be complete, more like an export from a Report. If you have a better title, please suggest!
Thanks
