Is there a way to have Quicken Simplifi automatically import the Cost Basis from Fidelity accounts?

    Hello @TiggerTrainer,

Thanks for reaching out! If you are talking about the cost basis associated with your investment account Holdings, then that should be updated automatically. This support article explains how your investment balances update within Quicken Simplifi in further detail: https://support.simplifi.quicken.com/en/articles/5167335-how-do-my-investment-balances-update

Let us know if this helps!

@Coach Jon thanks! That is exactly what I meant. After about 2-3 weeks the cost never updated, it has a triangle stating I needed to enter it manually. I did enter it manually, but it changes every two weeks due to additional purchases as part of payroll.

Is there a way to turn on the automated cost population of the data from Fidelity?

    Hello @TiggerTrainer,

Thanks for the reply! I apologize, after verifying with my team, I have verified that cost basis is not supported for Fidelity within Quicken Simplifi. You will have to update the cost basis for your Fidelity holdings manually, as there is currently no way to do this automatically for Fidelity.

I am sorry I don't have a better method to give at this time.

The cost basis was able to download in Quicken Classic so I believe the API allows it. Is it the case that it just hasn’t been built in Quicken Simplifi yet?

    Hello @TiggerTrainer,

Quicken Classic and Quicken Simplifi are different programs by design. Fidelity does not support cost basis download according to our product team. With that, you will need to enter this data manually in Quicken Simplifi as changes take place.
