Charles Schwab - download positions corrupts data

Hello,
I am doing "Simple" investing when setting up a 'Brokerage' account within Quicken. When I first linked the accounts, everything looked great; the numbers matched between the Quicken and Schwab accounts (Retirement). But when I perform a global update (Sync), the account increases in value and becomes incorrect. Before doing a global update, I discovered that when I tried to "Download Positions" manually, the account became incorrect, with the same values in each account when a global update was performed. I have rebuilt the account multiple times with initial sync looking good, but the accounts become incorrect as soon as a global update occurs. So, my assumption is during global updates, it is downloading positions.
Do you have any thoughts as to why this is occurring? My only thoughts on potential solutions are to return to a tracked/advanced investing account setup (not desired) or maybe not to select a "Brokerage" account, and select 401/401K, but I didn't think this made a difference in Quicken; all are "investment" type accounts.
Please note that this method works fine for my other Financial retirement accounts (e.g., LPL, T Rowe, etc.).
Thank you!

@Wesley Breshears, thanks for reaching out to the Community!
Since it sounds like you're using Quicken Classic, you'll want to post to their Community instead. This is the Quicken Simplifi Community.
I hope this gets you pointed in the right direction!
