QBP: Add an Invoice Terms and Conditions Acknowledgement/Hyperlink [Edited]

It would be beneficial for me if the invoices included an ability to define our "terms and conditions" or even a check box that the customer would have to check in order to successfully pay. The Checkbox could denote acknowledgement of our terms and conditions that we could link to our "terms" page on our site.

Having such available helps to protect us from potential chargebacks from going the customers way.

I learned about this in another of my retail business. Global Merchants (the largest processor) advised to have a "terms and conditions page available on our website and be sure the customer is made aware of them through even something as simple as a link on our "checkout" page or through payments.

I could even work with a text box which is changeable on our invoices in which I could put

"Payment for goods and services acknowledges adherence to our Terms and Conditions" with an ability to provide a hyperlink to that page on our site.

OR

"Please review our Terms and Conditions Here" with an ability to hyperlink this statement. This, alone, I believe would be good enough.

  • Commenting here but there are a number of requests that are all really under "Invoice customization" that seems to be a need. For instance, I have clients that require the bottom of the invoice to have a statement testifying the charges are for true items, with a signature.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
