Savings Goals Corruption

Similar to the issue listed below I am continuously having savings goals getting corrupted. The amount in the savings goal is correct, but it is not being subtracted from the accounts correctly.

In the attached example the savings goal has $3263, but it shows $-1588 out of the money market account. These should be equal.

The total in the account view is also wrong. There are multiple savings goals doing this.

I have had to delete are recreate savings goals multiple times while using Simplifi.

    Hello @PolyNomad,

    Thanks for reaching out. To help troubleshoot this issue, can you please clarify a couple of things? Are you encountering this only in the Web application, or are you also seeing it in the Mobile app? If you log out of the Web application, and then log back in again, is the issue resolved? Does using another browser/incognito mode work?

    Occurs on mobile and web. Also occurs in incognito mode.

    To further investigate this, please provide more information. You mentioned that you've deleted and recreated savings goals multiple times to correct this issue. About how long does it take for the issue to impact a savings goal? Does this affect all savings goals, or only some? Is there any pattern to the goals that get affected (for instance, only ones with contributions over or under a certain amount, or only ones that have had withdrawals taken out, etc.)?

    I opened up an issue regarding this Nov of 2023 where I was instructed to delete and reopen savings goals. Since that time I recall at least another time when I had to delete goals and reopen. I would say that I have to do it less than annually.

    Right now it is affecting 3 of 5 goal. All goals affected are from one account. Of the two not affected one has a 0 balance and the other was only contributed last week after the other goals were corrupt.

    I don't see any patterns currently:

    Goal 1 - Contribute monthly and withdrawal monthly for goal monthly

    Goal 2 - I have only contributed to, no withdrawals have occurred.

    Goal 3 - Has not been contributed or withdrawn from for some period of time.

    Hello @PolyNomad,

    Thanks for the reply. I'd definitely suggest deleting and recreating the Goals in question. You can use the amount you already have saved up as the "Saved so far" amount, and then make your regular contribution when you can to make sure things are accounting properly. I would then keep an eye on things moving forward and let us know if this happens again.
