Error FDP-185 Every Single Day with Truist (edited)

I keep receiving this error each day with my Truist Checking account on web and mobile for multi-factor authentication. I do it and it syncs for the day but then asks the next day for authentication again - This has been going on for a month.

Hello @Jcon63,
Thanks for reaching out! I can see from our side that you received the error earlier today but then could connect as you stated. We typically see this error during our nightly aggregation efforts during account refreshes. If we encounter this error when completing the nightly update, the user will see it the next time they sign into Quicken Simplifi. Most users can resolve this error by refreshing and completing the multi-factor authentication.
Quicken Simplifi should prompt you with a multi-factor authentication pop-up when refreshing your accounts. If you close the pop-up, it can be re-accessed by selecting the orange exclamation point next to the account name in the account list or by going to Settings > Accounts > and clicking Reconnect Accounts next to the affected account.
I hope this helps!

Hello - I refreshed the account as stated but continue to receive this error daily. This is very frustrating that this isn't fixed as I pay for this service.

@Jcon63, thanks for the additional feedback!
The reason you are running into this error is due to nightly aggregation, as mentioned by Coach Jon. To resolve the persistent error, you can change the update schedule so it only updates when you want it to or when you tell it to:
Let us know how this works for you!

I would like for it to update every day like the rest of my accounts. This is a big inconvenience to have to relink my account every time I want it to load my transactions. It worked for a year with no issues, why would it change overnight? @Coach Natalie @Coach Jon

@Jcon63, it was likely something on the bank's end that changed. We don't control bank MFA requirements. And since Quicken Simplifi is designed to perform nightly aggregation, if your bank requires MFA, and you're not available to complete it, the account will go into an error state.
We apologize for the inconvenience!
