Quicken Simplifi reporting "offline" in Chrome

I haven't been able to access Quicken Simplifi on the web on Chrome in a very long time because the home page keeps loading and saying I'm offline. I've tried:

  • Contacting Support. They asked me to open in Safari, which does work, so it indicates an issue with compatibility in Chrome… But rather than try to help me resolve the issue in Chrome, they basically told me to f off. Even though this is the only website on the internet that I'm having an issue with in Chrome.
  • Clearing cache and cookies. That didn't resolve it.
  • Restarting my computer. That didn't resolve it.
  • Accessing via the app.simplifimoney.com URL instead of simplifi.quicken.com. That didn't work.

I've seen other posts about this issue in the community but nothing with a solution that worked for me. At least one person said it eventually started working for them again, but I've had this issue for weeks now, so it doesn't seem like it's going to resolve on its own. I'm hoping someone on here has other ideas for me to try.

Have you tried going to settings in Chrome:OnStartup and reset the homepage? Or get rid of the homepage altogether. Mine just opens on a new Tab. I don't think there is an incompatibility with Chrome, just some setting.

I assume you have the latest version of Chrome. Have you also tried uninstalling Chrome and reinstalling it from scratch?

Another workaround would be to install Simplifi as a web app with Safari. Open it in Safari and go to File:Add to Dock. Then you can just open it from the Dock in Safari while keeping Chrome as your default browser.

See if any of this works for you. Good luck @brebush!

    1. Try incognito mode, if this works, clear cache and cookies
    2. the website changed to now simplifi.quicken.com it used to be (forwards) app.simplifimoney.com
    3. Make sure you don't have a VPN running

I haven't used Chrome in quite a while, but thought I'd check this out. Opened Chrome, clicked on the Quicken Simplifi shortcut that is set to "https://app.simplifimoney.com/" (that tells you how long it's been since I used Chrome.) and was redirected to "https://simplifi.quicken.com/" and QS opened up. I had to log in but didn't have any problems accessing the site. No idea what is keeping you from accessing QS through Chrome.

Maybe a fresh install of Chrome as @SRC54 suggests?
