Pending transactions that are linked to recurring don't show as "paid" in Bills & Income (edited)
Pending transactions will mark a matched bill paid in the spending plan, but will leave the same bill in the Bills & Income as unpaid until the transaction clears. It would be nice for both bills (the same bill) be either paid or unpaid by a pending transaction.

@BenB, thanks for posting to the Community!
I went ahead and moved this out of Feature Requests so we can do some troubleshooting. Whether a transaction is 'pending' or 'cleared' in Quicken Simplifi, it should be able to be linked to a Recurring Reminder. Once linked, the Reminder will show as "paid" in all of the applicable areas of the program, such as the Spending Plan. As for the Bills & Income section, since this page is designed to show "upcoming" items, once the transaction is linked to the Reminder, the Reminder should no longer show here.
With that, please provide more details on what specifically you're seeing with screenshots so we can take a closer look from our end. Also, here are some help articles for you to review that may provide insight:
We look forward to your reply!

I didn't take screenshots of this when it happened,
My mortgage payment was imported into my checking account during a sync and was marked pending, as it should. I happened to notice in my spending plan my mortgage payment was showing as paid - it matched.
In the Bills & Income section the same bill was showing unpaid and late, however it was linked to the exact same transaction. I manually changed the transaction to cleared and the same bill showed paid in the Bills and Income section.
I double checked both bills and they are tied to the same transaction. This isn't the first time I've noticed this. Seems like the bills in the calendar area want to see a cleared transaction, and those in the spending plan don't care.
Not a huge deal. Hope it makes sense.

@BenB, thanks for the reply!
That definitely sounds like funky behavior. I don't have any pending transactions to currently test this with, but I will try to keep an eye out for when I do. If you happen to notice the issue again, please grab some screenshots and share them here! The Reminder should be removed from Bills & Income once linked to a transaction, regardless of the status, so we will want to get that escalated if possible.

I just did a quick test, I'll send you screen shots.
I entered a manual transaction in my checking for my electric bill of $109. There's a current bill in my plan and also on the calendar as a recurring bill for this.
Here's the transaction, I left it pending:
Here's the bill in my spending plan immediately after entering. Transaction is still pending. Show's paid and date changed from 18th to 4th (assuming that's normal behaivior).
Here's the exact same bill that is in my Bills & Income section. The transaction is still pending, but is scheduled and not paid. I did click on the 3 dots and it is linked to the exact same transaction I made. I did note that the date changed from the 18th to today, so it's definitely aware of the transaction. It's just waiting for it to clear. Before this under the word Comed, it said 'On Mar 18'
While I was in the transaction from the above, I cleared the transaction. Below is what happened immediately,
Seems like the pending/cleared status is interpreted differently. Not a major issue but I'm guessing this isn't specific to my installation. Just a little bug.
Happy to help provide more details or experiments if you need.
Thank you.

@BenB, thanks for highlighting an example!
I was able to reproduce this with a pending transaction on the Web App this morning and have reported it as a bug. I will post back with updates!

Yes, I can also attest that this behavior has always been present for me. When it's pending and linked, it's paid in the Spending Plan but remains Upcoming in Bills and Income until it clears. It has always been a bit disconcerting.
Thanks for reporting this, y'all.
