Ability to add or subtract Planned Spending funds without overwriting the original amount (edited)

instead of overwriting the existing number with the new one, why can't you just add or subtract an amount.
If I have a random number in groceries like $457.32 and I have 32.11 available and want to add to groceries, I'd like to be able to add the 32.11 to the balance and not use a calculator first then enter the new balance. Same goes if I want to subtract small amounts from balances to move to another item, I'l like to just be able to hit a minus (-) key and type an amount to deduct, or something that is intuitive.
Thanks!

I voted. Thank you!
Request is very similar but focused on adding funds to cover another overspent category, basically an all or nothing approach.
what I was suggesting is an easier way to add or subtract arbitrary amounts instead of rewriting the new budget number each time. This is especially difficult if you’re on mobile app and can’t see the available to spend info from within the planned spending space.
at a minimum when you’re in the edit screen of a planned expense it would be helpful to see the available to spend balance (if any). Secondly the ability to add/subtract an amount without overwriting the original. An example - $45.50 budgeted and there’s $25 I want to add. Just select ‘add’ and type 25 instead of deleting the 45.50 and typing 70.50.
Math makes my brain hurt, that’s why I purchased a Simplifi subscription 🤣
thanks for all you do. So far loving the app.1 -
