Linking a transaction to a recurring payment deletes it

Twice this month (and I suspect earlier, but this is the first time I've caught it in the act), I've had a transaction that ought to belong to a monthly expense come in miscategorized, and when I choose 'Mark as Recurring' → 'Link to existing bill or subscription', both the transaction and the reminder in Spending Plan just disappear.

Hello @Emacken,
Thanks for reaching out! To clarify your situation, can you let us know if the transaction immediately disappears once you link it, or is it after a certain amount of time or the next refresh/sign-in? Is it a certain type of transaction, or every time you try to link any transaction?

It does seem to disappear immediately, yes; I don't have enough data to be sure whether the type affects it. The two I've noticed so far were an automatic transfer to a different bank account that should have been Utilities but got categorized as Education (presumably because my credit union has College in the name, but that never used to be a problem with Simplifi, just Mint), and a recurring Paypal transaction that got labeled as a different recurring transaction (larger amount and later in the month).
