Simplifi incorrectly auto-naming and auto-categorizing and hasn't learned from corrections

I have a Venmo business profile and routinely use it to make Professional Services payments. The business profile name is "<name> Tango" (where "Tango" is the relevant portion here). I can see on Simplifi that the Venmo transactions come in as "<name> Tango paid <payee name>".

For over a year now, Simplifi CONSISTENTLY mis-names the payee as "Tango" and mis-categorizes the category as "Fast Food". See attached screenshots.

I don't have any rules that result in these mis-naming/categorization.

I have manually renamed both the payee name and category several times over the last year. But this error continues to happen. So, I am not sure that the statement that "Simplifi learns over time" is accurate.

    Thank you for sharing your experience. To assist with this, please provide more information. Does this consistent incorrect Payee & Category renaming happen only with this one type of Payee in your Venmo account? If not, what other accounts/payees are impacted by this? Based on your screenshot, it looks like the "appears on your Venmo statement as" shows more information. Is that part reflecting correctly?

    You mentioned that there is no rule that appears to be causing this issue. Is it possible to use a rule to prevent the issue? See this article for more information on creating rules:
