Why are Schedule D transactions not included in Personal tax report?

I sold a mineral interest and split the amount between the relevant asset account and a Category I created for Capital Gains. I marked the Capital Gains category as Tax-Related and associated it with tax form Schedule D and line item "ST/LT gain or loss." (I also tried "LT gain/loss - security" with same result.)

Here is the category definition:

When I generate the tax report Schedule D does not show up. Dates are correct and should include this transaction. Here are the sections that show up on the tax report:

Shouldn't Schedule D be in included in the Personal tax report?

    Hello @DryHeat,

Thank you for letting us know you're seeing this issue. Is this happening in the web app, the mobile app, or both?

I tested in my Quicken Simplifi (by assigning a category I use to a Schedule D tax line item), and Schedule D does show up on my Personal Tax Report.

If you haven't already done so, please double check that you have categories associated with Schedule D tax line items assigned to the transactions that you need to reflect under Schedule D in your report.

If the issue still persists after that, please try logging out of the app, then logging back in.

Please let me know how it goes!

    Problem solved. My mistake…

The deposit transaction was originally just a transfer from Checking to the "Xxx Yyy Oil Interest" asset account and was excluded from both Spending Plan and Reports.

When I split it to reflect Capital Gains, I did not change the exclusions. So the Capital Gains didn't show up in the tax report.

(There is an existing request for ability to treat splits separately, e.g., exclude one but not the other. That would be a good thing.)

    Thanks for your help…
