Every time I do an account download I am required to set up a new account. It does not let me download to an existing account. It does not matter what account or what bank. When this happens, I also have to set up a new web connection. And on some occasions, I lose some or all past history.

OK. Novice here. I clicked on your Q Home - Quicken button and got a generic info page. How do I get to your response?

Thanks for the reply! The link I shared should take you to the Quicken Classic community homepage. From there, you should be able to create a post the same way you did here in this community. The two communities are just split up this way to differentiate the two different products.

Tried to do what you said but system now sohows permission problem even after I signed in. Why is this process so complicated!

After I signed off for a half hour, then signed back in, I somehow got on to the site "Welcome to the community" and posted my question. Is that the right site?

Got that issue resovled with help via 'chat". Now tried to reactivate my bank account but Quicken will no recognize my bank log in. Works when I log in directly with my bank. Can you anwer or will you provide me a link back to Quickens "chat".

@golf, you need to post to the Quicken Classic Community. We cannot help you with Quicken Classic here in the Quicken Simplifi Community.

Did the Deactivate/reactivate process. Did a download today with two bank accounts and had the same original problem. Next suggested remedy?

Since you are using Quicken Classic, and the troubleshooting steps are different than the steps for Quicken Simplifi, you should reach out to the Quicken Classic Community for assistance, or reach out to Quicken Classic Support directly.

I have no problem signing in but when I try ti establish a unigue account, it give me a "permission problem" message. Can't even get into the community or support
