Transfer renaming rules

I have created rules for all of my transfers to be renamed in this pattern:
TRANSFER FROM XXXX
TRANSFER TO XXXX
Where ‘XXXX’ is the last four digits of the account number.
My rules clearly have the word ‘to’ or ‘from’ in the search, so why does Simplifi get it wrong EVERY TIME?? All of the ‘transfer from’ transactions are renamed to TRANSFER TO, and vice versa. It’s really frustrating. Am I doing something wrong? I have checked and rechecked to make sure I have the correct wording, and recreated each rule several times, and it doesn’t change.

@nosinbro Another user had a similar problem a while back.
If 'to' and 'from' are being treated as 'noise words' then you may have to find something else in the original statement name to key on. See my comment here and the other thread in general.

Either way you look at it, To and From are pretty important words in banking, so this is a bug that needs to be fixed…

Absolutely, and you are not the first to have trouble with this. It's hard to figure a way around it.
As for why it is working the way it is, you could post a screenshot of the Rules that might be involved and say in what order they appear in the Rules list. Then someone might have an idea of why it's happening.
You could also post the original statement names for these transfers (it appears at the top of the renamed transfer edit screen) to see if anyone can suggest rules that might work with that text. Long shot, but…
**you may want to redact account numbers, etc.
