Transaction disappears after it's entered

I have recorded a transfer transaction that doesn't appear in my checking account register as a deposit. It's as though it just disappears. However, when I search for it, it appears but my bank balance just doesn't change to reflect the amount of the deposit and yet it shows in the transfer account.

What's happening here?

Thank you for letting us know you're seeing this issue. To help troubleshoot, please clarify what is happening. Is the transaction showing up in the transfer account register, but not the register for the account that is actually sending the funds? What category is showing for the transaction? Is the transaction date for today or a past date, or is it for a future date?
