Spending from vacation/saving goals

Hi team,

I love the app—it’s done wonders in my life. One area for improvement is the Saving section. Depositing works perfectly (e.g., saving $1,000 for a vacation), but spending those funds is confusing: I have to withdraw from my goal, mark it as a spend, and the $1,000 is not registered for actual transaction expenses in the app. I end up manually creating income just so I can track my actual vacation expenses.

Here are some suggestions to spend from a savings goal:

  1. Select a live transaction to fund directly from the goal.
When I make an actual purchase—say a $300 airline charge—I want to tap that transaction in the app and either select the transaction category as a Savings goal (so that it spends it from that goal) or, once I select “Withdraw & Spend” on the Savings tab, select the transaction so that it registers the expense in the Savings account and funds the expense.
  2. Automatically create income in the goal account upon withdrawal.
Another way is once I register the expense on my vacation fund, it appears as available income I can immediately subtract actual expenses.
  3. Allow a temporary “Vacation Expenses” category.
Another way (similar to #2) is to create this category for the month in Planned Spending, pre‑fund it with the saved/spend amount, and let me add associated expenses directly.

Thanks for considering these improvements—this would make spending from savings goals much smoother!
