Does simplifi use 2FA for login when I register my SMS/phone?

Reason I ask is I registered it, and tried a test in login from another device. It didn't use 2FA at all.
Is this expected or is it a bug in the system? If 2FA isn't fully enabled when will this be added? Not having 2FA on a tool as critical as this one seems like a huge hole in security.
thanks

Hello @Supervroom,
Thanks for reaching out! I think we need a little bit more information in order to help out here. Are you referring to when you open up your Quicken Simplifi mobile application, or are you referring to signing into your Quicken Simplifi account in general? Additionally, what do you mean by registering? Let us know!

By registering I mean I have enabled SMS/Cell phone in my security settings. My expectation was this would enable 2FA. Simply when I login to simplifi from a new machine with my password, I expect an SMS code as a 2FA step.
While testing this I found out it is not the case. If someone has my password they can login without requiring a SMS code.
This is on the website. I have not tested the app.

Hello @Supervroom,
Thanks for the reply and clarification. Multi-factor authentication is not something currently implemented within Quicken Simplifi, but we do have an idea post available that you may vote for and follow for updates here, where users have requested the same:
I hope this helps!
