Problems Using Rental program

Just input all 30 tenants from my Excell spreadsheet for May and wanted to input jan to april numbers.

Problem is when the rental amount changes for section 8 tenants how to show that history in the "Rent Amount". Also how to carryforward an unpaid rental amount to the next month

FYI Just figured out how to record Section 8 tenants when there are 4 different housing authorities and possible 10 tenants who use section 8. Not sure how this will play out at the end of year
