Robinhood managed IRA accounts supported?

I saw from this thread that IRA accounts on Robinhood should be be supported for sync, and others have reported being able to do so successfully. I'm wondering if this feature works for both traditional and managed IRA accounts on Robinhood or only the former (traditional)? I have a managed account and am unable to get my Simplifi syncing with it (only my regular brokerage account).
Managed IRAs on Robinhood are part of a new feature rollout in Q1 2025 which I signed up for which makes me think they're not supported on the Simplifi end yet in terms of data syncing.

Thanks for reaching out! I am not sure whether it would matter if the IRA with Robinhood needs to be traditional or managed, but can you clarify if this managed IRA account you have is an external account. As in, when you visit the Robinhood website and select the managed account, does it link you to another website where the account is managed? What happens specifically when you try to add it into the program?

Managed IRAs are within Robinhood as well (not an external website or account). When I add Robinhood however it doesn’t appear as an account I can sync (only my regular Robinhood Brokerage and Crypto Accounts).

As I said, wondering if it’s because Managed IRAs are a brand new feature compared to traditional IRAs on Robinhood and need to get exposed through the API somehow.

Thanks for the reply. I would just use the regular Robinhood instance. To clarify further, how does this Managed IRA account differ from a regular IRA account? And when did the financial institution add this account type? We have not received any other reports of this issue occurring as of yet, so we will want to narrow this down.

One is simply self-directed (Traditional) and the other is managed by Robinhood Securities (Managed), but otherwise both are just regular IRAs. Robinhood launched this feature to support managed IRas in March 2025, so previously there were only traditional ones available.0 -

Thanks for the clarification. From the link you shared, I can see that the Managed IRA account is managed by something called Robinhood Strategies. Is that particular service separated from the regular Robinhood service? If so, what may be happening is Robinhood is not sending that specific account over when connecting due to being technically separate.

That's my assumption as well. You're saying perhaps it's not currently retrievable using the API?

It is possible. In order for us to escalate this issue, can I have you supply the following information?
- Has there been any activity in the account in the last 90 days?
- Has the bank made any recent changes to its website or sign-in process?
- Are you the owner of the account?
- The name of the account, as it appears on the bank's website.
- A screenshot of the Accounts Summary page from the bank's website (the page that lists all accounts and balances - feel free to redact any private info) that has a wide enough scope to show the page URL (this must be taken from a web browser and not a mobile browser).
- A screenshot of the Add Account screen in Quicken Simplifi showing that the account in question is missing at account discovery.

Can you also send logs so we can investigate how this occurring as well?
- Log into the Quicken Simplifi Web App.
- Select Profile from the left-hand navigation bar.
- With the Profile menu open, hold down the Option key for Mac or the Alt key for Windows, and then click Send Feedback.
- Leave all boxes checked, add a brief description of the issue, and then click Send.

I spoke with Robinhood support and learned that data from managed IRA accounts is not yet available via the API, but something they are actively working to offer soon. That explains why Simplifi can’t sync it.
