Change Recurring Amount Effective with a Future Date

I would like the ability to edit the amount of a recurring series effective on a future date forward without it affecting reminders/occurrences between now and the effective date of the change.
Here are some potential use cases:
- Salary increases (you often receive at least one or two more checks at the old/current salary before the increase is included)
- Changes to health insurance premiums/HSA contributions for open enrollment periods (these changes are often determined a couple of months before the change is effective)
- Increases to subscription rates effective the following month/period
- Planning to increase debt payments on loans or credit cards in future months
This was a function available in my previous "checkbook" app, which I used frequently to estimate future cash flow. It also served as a reminder to review paycheck details once the change took effect. It also enables you to update series as notifications of future changes are received, rather than wait until they are effective.
In my previous app, I would open the first recurrence for the new amount and click on the series amount. A warning indicated that this change would affect all future occurrences. As an example, for the HSA contribution adjustment effective in July, I would select the occurrence dated 7/3/2025 and update the series amount from that date forward, ensuring that the amount of the three remaining bi-weekly contributions between now and then remained unchanged.
I believe the way to address this in Simplifi currently is to update the series amount effective immediately and then change each reminder between now and 7/3/2025 back to the current amount again, or to make no change to the series until 7/3/2025.
