Are other people experiencing problems connecting to the College Savings Iowa 529 plans? The website changed to Isave529.com, so perhaps that's the issue?

    Hello @Mnew,

Thanks for reaching out! To help clarify this issue you are experiencing, can you let us know if you are trying to add a new account into Quicken Simplifi, or are you trying to update an existing account? For the latter, I would have you try establishing a new connection:

    • Make all of the accounts with the bank manual by following the steps here.
    • Once you see the account(s) listed in the Manual Accounts section under Settings > Accounts, go back through the Add Account flow to reconnect to the bank.
    • If the connection is successful, carefully link the account(s) found to your existing Quicken Simplifi account(s) by following the steps here.

Let us know how that goes!

Hello, I am having the same problem. I even tried removing the College Savings Iowa 529 connection and creating a new connection. Now I have nothing for this entity in my Quicken Profile. I get the following error. It asks for mobile phone for 2 factor authentication. Once I select mobile phone to send the Pin to it errors out. Care: FDP-101 “We are unable to connect to College Savings Iowa 529 at this time. Please try again later.”

Can I get some help with this? Is this provider no longer accepting connections like this. They have transitioned to a new name or owner recently. Not sure if that has anything to do with it.

    Hello @antjensav,

Thanks for reaching out! I can see the FDP-101 error you are experiencing from our side. You mentioned that you received the error after selecting to text a PIN to your phone for multi-factor authentication. If you change the method for MFA, or temporarily disable the MFA settings from your bank's side, does the error still appear when trying to connect in Quicken Simplifi?

Is there any update on this issue? Iowa 529 Plan connections quit working for me awhile back. There is also no option to temporarily disable MFA. I am receiving error message FDP-106. If this is relevant at all, the Iowa 529 plan provider changed from College Savings Iowa (www.collegesavingsiowa.com) to ISave529 (www.isave529.com). Thanks.

    Hello @jeff4cy,

Thanks for reaching out! Can you let us know if you are trying to add an account for the first time in Quicken Simplifi or update an existing account? In the case of the former, can you also provide the following information:

    1. How long have you been experiencing this error?
    2. What type of banking accounts are you trying to add?
      • E.g. checking account, savings account, investment accounts, etc.
    3. What is the account nickname as it appears on the bank's website?
    4. Has there been activity on the account within the last 90 days?
    5. What is the exact web URL you see once you’ve signed in to the bank's website?
