College Savings Iowa 529 plan no longer connecting - FDP-103 (edited)

Are other people experiencing problems connecting to the College Savings Iowa 529 plans? The website changed to Isave529.com, so perhaps that's the issue?

Update with the error code:
We are unable to connect to College Savings Iowa 529 at this time.

Hello @Mnew,
Thanks for reaching out! To help clarify this issue you are experiencing, can you let us know if you are trying to add a new account into Quicken Simplifi, or are you trying to update an existing account? For the latter, I would have you try establishing a new connection:
- Make all of the accounts with the bank manual by following the steps here.
- Once you see the account(s) listed in the Manual Accounts section under Settings > Accounts, go back through the Add Account flow to reconnect to the bank.
- If the connection is successful, carefully link the account(s) found to your existing Quicken Simplifi account(s) by following the steps here.
Let us know how that goes!

Hello, I am having the same problem. I even tried removing the College Savings Iowa 529 connection and creating a new connection. Now I have nothing for this entity in my Quicken Profile. I get the following error. It asks for mobile phone for 2 factor authentication. Once I select mobile phone to send the Pin to it errors out. Care: FDP-101 “We are unable to connect to College Savings Iowa 529 at this time. Please try again later.”
Can I get some help with this? Is this provider no longer accepting connections like this. They have transitioned to a new name or owner recently. Not sure if that has anything to do with it.

Hello @antjensav,
Thanks for reaching out! I can see the FDP-101 error you are experiencing from our side. You mentioned that you received the error after selecting to text a PIN to your phone for multi-factor authentication. If you change the method for MFA, or temporarily disable the MFA settings from your bank's side, does the error still appear when trying to connect in Quicken Simplifi?

Coach Jon and others,
Larger response with more information. The Iowa529 main access URL is
This page and my regular user login requires MFA. When attempting this connection method, it fails. I've tried reconnecting several times and received several different error codes. The most recent is "Care Code: QCS-0429-2".Separately, Iowa529 offers an aggregator site for applications like Quicken Simplifi. However, I do not see a way to configure this in the app. The URL for aggregator login is "https://www.iowa529save.com/iatpl/aggregator/sessionCreate/viewCollectAggrCredentials.cs"
Can Simplifi be setup with this new URL for Iowa529's College Savings? Please advise.

Hello @Mnew,
Thanks for following up. From our side, I see that the most recent error you are running into is an FDP-103 error. Which is different from the FDP-101 error you were reporting earlier in this thread. I would see if the following steps work to resolve the issue in this case:
- Verify your login information is correct – Type your password/PIN into a text application to ensure you don’t have any typographical errors. Then, copy and paste your login information into Quicken Simplifi to ensure accuracy.
- Verify your login at the bank’s website – Try to sign in to your bank’s website using the same login credentials to ensure you've not locked yourself out of the account and the credentials are still valid.
- Check for an app-specific password – Some banks require users to use a specific app password when connecting to a third party. Check with your bank to see if you need to use an app-specific password.
- Update your credentials – Try temporarily updating your password on your bank's website and then try again to connect to Quicken Simplifi. We recommend NOT using the following special characters: & < > / \.
Let us know how this goes!
