Spending Plan "overspent"

Why does my spending Plan show a big "you overspent" message when a single category is over budget? Meanwhile, many of the other categories are way under budget. Is there way to make it so it only tracks over budget when you actually go over the entire planned spending budget?

I just change the budget for that single category and adjust the others. I agree with you that the bottom line is the important thing. I also cheat and remove certain big bills from the spending plan. For example, I take my tithe out; it's not something I have control over and I do the same for my 6 month insurance bill.

    This way, I always win!

Of course, the reports always tell you the truth. But if the trend is ok, I am ok with it. 😀
