Everday fix for Spouse Accounts @ Apple FCU - Normal?

My spouse and I have accounts at the Apple Federal Credit Union (Apple FCU). Each of us has member share, checking, savings (money market), credit card. When these are entered for me, all the accounts are presented to be added except for the member share. These get added and just a quick check is done. When adding the spouse’s accounts these are added along with the member share. A quick check is done.
Then on the following day, I login to Simplifi and all the spouse’s accounts at the Apple FCU are showing that they need to be fixed, but mine are showing they updated correctly and there is no action needed. I have tested this for the past five days and each day is the same. I understand that sometimes an update is needed as something might have changed in the Simplifi app or at the Apple FCU host systems. But is normal to be every day?

Hello @Dick_Davis,
Thanks for reaching out! For clarification, you are able to link your and your spouse's accounts with Quicken Simplifi; however, your spouse's accounts show an error the next day, correct?
Can you let us know what error those accounts are receiving? What steps do you usually take to fix the error? Providing a screenshot of what this looks like in Quicken Simplifi would also assist us in troubleshooting.

With this message and error code, the MFA is for the receipt of the code via telephone. I think you will agree that this is the culprit of the problem. The error message and code is "A multi-factor authentication is required to connect to your account at Apple Federal Credit Union. Care Code: FDP-185"
What I do to resolve is to click on error and then resolve through manage updates.

Hello @Dick_Davis,
Thanks for the reply and information! Did you connect you and your spouse's accounts at the same time? I would see if establishing a fresh connection with these accounts works to resolve the issue here:
- Make all of the accounts with the bank manual by following the steps here.
- Once you see the account(s) listed in the Manual Accounts section under Settings > Accounts, go back through the Add Account flow to reconnect to the bank.
- If the connection is successful, carefully link the account(s) found to your existing Quicken Simplifi account(s) by following the steps here.
Let us know!
