Password is prompted for even though it says Quicken ID is invalid

I had change my Quicken ID from
[removed - privacy]
to
[removed - privacy] (it's shorter, and easier to type)
When my browser autofills [removed - privacy] (that is no longer a Quicken ID), your service tells me (1) that my quicken id is invalid, however (2) it prompts me for a password.
It should not prompt me for a password if I do not have a valid account.
