How can I automatically recognize account transfers (in) as income?

My partner and I transfer money from our own accounts to our joint account every month. However, they show up as "Transfer" instead of "Personal Income". The problem I'm seeing with recurring rules is I need to give it a date it is supposed to come in… we don't do it the same day each month so that isn't helpful.

I can't imagine we're the only ones doing this.

    The recent discussion linked at the bottom is also about a user's desire for transfers to show up categorized as something other than a transfer. The information there may be helpful.

    If the problem is that you want the funds to show up in the "Income after bills & saving" section of the spending plan, you can do that by changing the checked "Exclude from:" selections in the transaction to allow the incoming funds to show up, like this:
