"Service is currently unavailable" icon next to accounts (edited)

Over the past few days, in some of my accounts, in the Accounts list on the left, the cloud icon with a slash -"Service is currently unavailable" is remaining showing, even though the accounts have updated. This appears in all my accounts with Citi Bank and TD Bank.

I am using the web version.

Is this a bug or something else?

    I got that for the first time yesterday with my Fidelity Accounts saying that they were unavailable until 1pm. It was strange because Fidelity is usually unavailable during peak periods, generally mid morning and mid afternoon, but never got the slashed cloud for that. But the information was correct as the service was down so I couldn't update or reset the connection until after 1pm.

    On top of that, two of my accounts Fidelity accounts got disconnected; anyhow, I reconnected them after 1pm and all is well. Never seen this before so looks like a new feature.

    Also I changed my fidelity accounts to update automatically once per day, and now there is a little clock icon in the Sidebar (exactly where the slashed cloud had been). This is new too, or at least it wasn't there when I tried out the feature last year.

    Anyhow, I went back to the default to always update so I got rid of that icon. I don't like clutter! 😉

    I've had the same icon on all of my TD Bank accounts for the past week or so.

    Maybe it's more like a weather forecast, saying it's not cloudy ("Clear Skies Ahead" - - as someone i used to know with the handle Count Zero Interrupt used to say online).. Maybe the server is on land rather than in the cloud?

    Same here. App is definitely having issues. Not a good look for them.

    Thanks for reaching out! Can you please provide screenshots showing how this icon looks within Quicken Simplifi? Additionally, are your accounts still updating normally? Let us know!

    I'm seeing the same cloud icon on my Costco Citi Visa in the list of Accounts on the Transactions page. But it also says it was updated a few minutes ago. There have been no recent transactions so I can't tell if it really updated or not.

    Hello everyone,

    After checking with my product team, I have verified that this icon is added when a financial institution is experiencing issues within Quicken Simplifi. When there is no longer a reported issue for the financial institution in question, our product team removes the icon.

    If your bank is updating normally within the program, you can ignore the icon for the most part. I hope this information helps!

    There turned out to be no need to reset. The cloud icon disappeared on its own. All seems normal now.

    QS won't try to update again for a few hours. I'll let you know if the problem recurs.

    I don't know if you need for these occurrences to be reported, but…

    … the cloud icon is back for my Costco Citi credit card account.

    I had a similar situation to @DryHeat. In the web version of Simplifi, both of my Citi credit cards (Costco Anywhere and Double Cash) had the slashed cloud (service not available) icon in the Accounts navigation bar for several days, but new transactions continued to appear. Clicking the refresh button in Simplifi, clicking the browser's refresh button, and closing the browser window all had no effect on the icon.

    Based on the suggestion from @Coach Jon, I tried using Reset Connection from the account page. The first time, when I entered my login credentials on the Citi login prompt, I got an "access denied" error from Citi, and Simplifi reported my accounts were no longer connected. But when I retried the process, Citi then gave me a list of my card accounts to grant access to Simplifi. After that, the slashed cloud icon disappeared from the navigation bar for those accounts.

    Seeing the same issue with the NOT Available icon. The transactions appear to be downloading.
