Incorrect Fidelity transaction description (incorrectly named "Check")
The latest transaction description in my Fidelity cash management account (from 6/30/2025) posted as "Check" in Simplifi, and Simplifi says "Appears on your Fidelity statement as Check." On Fidelity's website, the transaction actually appears as "INTEREST EARNED FDIC INSURED DEPOSIT AT BK OF OKLAHO..."

Thanks for reaching out. What may be sent over from your financial institution might differ from what you see on the bank's website. Is this the only occurrence of this happening? If it is, I would suggest just changing the Payee name to what you would like it to be and possibly setting up a Payee Rule going forward.

@Coach Jon, this is the first and only instance of this happening. Every similar transaction from previous months in this account had a transaction name matching what Fidelity shows on its website. That's why I thought it might be a bug (together with the fact that the description simply says "Check").

Thanks for the reply. If this is the only occurrence of this happening, I would just make sure to change the Payee name for the single transaction, since we cannot be sure it is a bug. If this starts happening again with increased frequency, be sure to let us know!
