Past issue with recurring transactions and projected balance still happening? (edited)

I have been a longtime Quicken user (first Q Windows for many years and Q Mac for the past several years). I prefer the Q Mac interface because it is easier on the eyes and looks more up to date.

I then became an early adopter of Simplifi when it launched and kept up with it for a few years parallel with Q Mac. One the issues that I found with Simplif was if the actual paid transaction of one of my projected recurring transactions has not been paid by the date that I had for it to be paid (for example if a weekend impacts the timing of the transaction coming into Simplifi) my projected balance would seem to ignore that recurring amount on that projected payment date and it would result in displaying an incorrect projected balance. Eventually when the transaction does come through, then the projected balance would be back to accurate.

I am wondering if that functionality still exists now? I would really like to move my Quicken completely to the cloud (which is what Simplifi is) and move away from the desktop requirement. Is is it possible to try Simplifi for a month or so to see if that quirk still exists?

Since becoming an early adopter of Simplifi, I continued to support Simplifi by paying the annual subscription over the years but did not renew this year since I have not used it for a couple of years.

@jaarso, thanks for posting your inquiry to the Community!

I'm not aware of any issues currently that cause reminders to not be counted in Projected Cash Flow, even when 'past due'. Quicken Simplifi definitely offers a 30-day money-back guarantee, so you can try out the program for 30 days again if you'd like.

    I hope this helps!

    Hi Natalie,

I am happy to report that the ssue that I was having with Simplifi previously is no longer an issue. I am glad that I restarted my Simplifi subscription because it is so much better than desktop Quicken. I am loving the convenience of not being tied to a desktop. (even though I occasionally did use Quicken for the web and the Quicken mobile app but those are not standalone applications). Anyhow, I am so glad that I came back because this is great!!😁
