Suitable category for Investment account transactions

Is there a way I can specify which all accounts a category rule should apply to?
Target on category should be categorized as shopping/clothing
But Target fund on my 401K should be categorized as something else.

that brings up the second question,
what should all the investment account transactions be categorized as?
Monthly contribution to 401K, dividend reinvestment or any portfolio redistribution triggers lots of buy & sell transactions and these sells are not personal incomes
Should they all be categorized as investment transactions?
if yes then how create such account specific rule?

I am curious to know how others are handling this?

You should be able to give them different payees, e.g., Target and Target Fund. I have Amazon for one category, Amazon Prime for another and Amazon Kindle for yet another.

I think the payee is the way to go. Try it out.
