Pending Activity Updates disappear after new sync

Over the past several days now, I have had pending transactions from my bank account sync to Simplifi and after the sync, I would update them with correct payee names and/or link series items. After the updates, the next day, when I login, the bank re-syncs, and the pending transactions seem to reset and the former payee names re-appear and the linked series items un-link. Please advise.

Hmm, my bank often redownloads pending transactions BUT the ones I had edited are still there. I either merge them or just delete the duplicates that just redownloaded. But you say it is deleting your edited transactions?

I suggest you take a screenshot of your pending transactions and upload it here so the coaches can see.

@SRC54 Yea, I'll link items from pending recurring transactions to pending transactions that have synced from the bank, then I'll come back later on in the day or the next day and the linked transactions are unlinked and back in the recurring transactions awaiting to be linked. I also noticed it when I performed the same link on my mobile. Then back to the web browser on my Mac and it's unsynced as if I did nothing. Been happening for at least a week or two now. I don't know how screenshots will help. It will show the pending recurring item, then I'll screenshot the linked item. then screenshot the recurring item being unlinked. Which will just appear to be a copy of the first screenshot.

Thanks for the extra information. I know that problems like this are hard to hunt down. I have some accounts that do some weird things and I have learned to anticipate them. But your situation sounds a bit different.

Normally, QS is designed to link automatically so I would start first by trying to make a rule for the payees and or categories, so that when these transactions come in QS will know to link them so you don't have to do it manually. That way if they do get redownloaded, QS will relink them again. (Again mine almost always link automatically so if they aren't, the dates are way off or the payees are.)

The second problem is that later they are redownloaded. Is it that the first time they are pending and then the second time, they are cleared? Or does your bank redownload pendings (as mine does, which is a problem for me sometimes)?

If you want to make a bug report, you'll need some screenshots for the coaches to send to the tech people so they can try to figure it out. So start making some screenshots showing the before and after.
