Contributing to Savings Goals: Ability to Ignore Individual Contributions

Raising awareness of this Savings Goal Feature Request:

Over time, I have accumulated "left at end of month" funds in my checking accounts. This month I decided to add those funds to a couple of my Savings Goals that are included in my Spending Plan. When I completed the contributions, my Spending Plan was way in the red. Why? Because the amount I contributed was way beyond what I have available to spend for this month. Any contributions made to Spending Plan included SGs deducts those contribution amounts from the current month's available funds.

The funds I am trying to contribute are funds that have accumulated over the past several months and are not included in this month's Spending Plan and thus the red status after making the contributions.

This is a situation in which this feature request would be useful.
