Recommend increasing the columns for the Payee and Category fields (edited)

I would recommend increasing the columns for the Payee and Category to allow these fields to be more readable. Also, a the end of the Notes column to insert the linked icon (chain link), a reconciled system (either an R or a check mark), and the entry was made how (DL for download, MN for manual, IM for imported). These areas are marked with the attached image. The reconciliation can be at the end of the amount field, for either the R or check mark. I recommend the R as it is not used elsewhere in the application.

@Dick_Davis, thanks for posting your recommendations to the Community!

Since we have a register redesign right around the corner, one that includes customizable columns, I would suggest waiting for that release to occur. We don't have an ETA as of yet; our product team is still working out some kinks. But you can follow our Updates From the Product Team category to be notified of this redesign when it occurs!

@Coach Natalie , thank you for the response. I as being an early Simplifi user, I have seen this redesign and find it very helpful. What I am suggestion is to take this register to another step of usability and enhance the user experience. Since this design has not been made generally available at this writing, then it could be possible to get his in the design. Also, when the earlier items are released, is that a notice that an early release (a beta of sorts) be provided.

Based on your screenshot, it does not appear you are using the new register. I would go ahead and wait for the new register to come out, and then suggest any changes at that time. There will be an announcement, as well as a feedback post for users to leave their feedback. This change likely won't be released to Early Access at first; I think they are planning to release it to everyone. However, the announcement will contain those details at that time.

As for adding a reconciled column, since there is no reconciliation feature, I don't think this is something that would apply. We instead recommend using the "reviewed" action/column to reconcile transactions: https://support.simplifi.quicken.com/en/articles/8218379-reconciling-accounts-in-quicken-simplifi

But of course, we are open to any feedback/suggestions after the new register is out!
