QBP: Ability to include business income and expenses in the Spending Plan (edited)

Currently recurring business income does not show up in the spending plan. Planned recurring income in business categories or outstanding invoices should show up in the spending plan for the month. One could set an option for whether business transactions, or which businesses' transactions, show up in the spending plan.

This has been described as a bug: https://community.simplifimoney.com/discussion/comment/47892

There is a feature request for separate business spending plans. Any spending plan should just include whichever combination or personal or businesses the user selects

    Second this!

As a sole proprietor not having this functionality kind of makes the Spending Plan pretty useless for me, since it's always in deficit, and I have no way of seeing if my income is balancing out against my outgoings in the spending plan.

I'm not sure how someone situated like myself is supposed to effetely use the Spending Plan otherwise?

@sidewalkboots - "There is a feature request for separate business spending plans."

I requested that "separate business spending plans" feature (see linked discussion below) because I wanted to keep my personal finances separate from business. But I can see why you would want to see everything in one overall Spending Plan in your case.

Your solution — choosing which categories to include — would probably work for me because I keep all business accounts and transactions in a separate Space. Presumably that Space would have its own Spending Plan where I could include all the Business categories (and do the opposite in my personal Space).

For those who have more Businesses than available Spaces it might be more of a problem, though.
