How to find total cost for investment page?
Hey Everyone! I'm new to paying attention to my 401k growth and am confused by the cost basis. I want to be able to see the gain from Simplifi's platform but can't pinpoint what I'm doing wrong the total cost area. Idk how to figure out what the total cost is supposed to be. My 401k is that bottom on in the screenshot if anyone can assist?
The other small is on the cash account of my IRA. They don't have a cost basis listed in Fidelity cause I think that cash gets reinvested at month end. I wish I could hide that one since it's not technically an investment account.
I have some serious gaps in my knowledge here and would appreciate any help in fixing the "incomplete" errors shown. Thank you!!

Unfortunately, the "Total cost" (or Cost Basis) is data that you have to input manually. You can find this data on your account at your investment institutions website for each position you hold.
On one of my FI's it is on the "Gain/Loss" page and on another this data is shown on the "Positions" page.
To enter this data in QS click on the three-dot menu at the right side of each individual position and select "Edit holding." The edit widow will pop up and you can enter the amount of your "total cost" in the appropriate data field.
