Synchrony branded store cards

Will there be the ability to add Snychrony accounts for Citgo and Amazon store cards? The current Amazon connection is not working.


it looks like Synchrony has a new account manager to be able to see all cards under one login. Great for the website, but not for Simplifi downloads.

    I know Amazon card used to work, but i switched to the Chase Amazon Prime Visa, and don't use the synchrony card any longer. I do use CareCredit, which I believe is a synchrony card, and to the best of my knowledge that still connects fine with Quicken Simplifi. When i log in on the CareCredit site, i can still see my old Amazon store card.

    If you can log into your card through the CareCredit site (try it, might be the same password) you may be able to use the entry to "CareCredit" to connect your Synchrony store branded cards. I know it's not straightforward, but might be worth a try.

    edit: if it works, you may want to make your existing accounts manual, then relink the new connection to your existing accounts in quicken simplifi.

    Thank you for reaching out! To help troubleshoot, I checked our internal tools and can see that you're getting a FDP-103 error with Amazon.com Store Card - Synchrony. Since I also have an Amazon store card through Synchrony, I tested in my Quicken Simplifi, and was able to update my account without any issue.

    To start troubleshooting, I recommend that you do the following:

    • Enable the “Show Password” option to confirm no typographical errors.
      • If you're using a password manager, try manually typing it in instead, in case the one saved is outdated.
    • Since too many failed login attempts may cause the account to be locked for security, please verify that you can sign into the bank’s website using the exact same credentials.
    • Update your credentials – Try temporarily updating your password at the bank's website and then try again to connect in Quicken Simplifi. We recommend NOT using the following special characters: & < > / \.
