I created manually created a new investment account account. Let's call it X (the actual name is not X).
I can see X in the list of the accounts. I have logged out and in again multiple times, I have also opened an anonymous chrome page, and I keep having the problem I am going to describe.
In February 2025 I made a transfer from my Chase checking account (automatically tracked) to the actual account X. The transfer was correctly added to the transactions, but X at that time was not listed in my accounts, so the transaction was not associated to any "receiving" account.
Now, I tried to change the category of the transaction to correctly associate the transaction to X, and I got the message

- We did not find a matching transaction in the account X. Click continue to create a manual transaction, or Cancel to abort
This is exactly what I wanted, but after I clicked on the "Continue" button, no additional transaction was created. At least, no transaction that I can see in the regular list of transactions.
Instead, if I visualize the page of the account X, in the tab "Transactions" I can see some simplified version of the transaction.
I also tried to create to manually create the "incoming" transaction in the account X, but X does not appear in the dropdown that allows to select the account of the transaction.
