Add Tags to Transactions in Spending Plan

This is very useful especially for split transactions that simply display the Payee. Having the Tag column would help very much.

Or give us the ability to add/remove columns.

    Agree! Tags (and Notes) being visible on bills and subscriptions in addition to the current columns would be great! I have a few payees with multiple bills or subscriptions in the same category and it is difficult to quickly identify them in the spending plan without the other columns! Notes would be even more important to include in this once Notes are supported on the recurring series setup. I could see not everyone benefiting from this so ideally it would be based on user preference similar to other column settings that already exist (just make the selections sticky!)

    I think this may be coming. I know the developers are working on the Spending Plan register.

    I upvoted it. I think this idea may have already been proposed. Tags are available in recurring transactions, but you don't see them in the Bills or Income Registers.

    @MikeZ, thanks for posting your suggestion to the Community!

    I have moved this out of Feature Requests so we can do some educating. You can already add the Tags column to the Transaction Activity areas of the Spending Plan to view the tags that are assigned to those transactions. To do so, you would hover over the column headers and then click the three dots at the end of a header:

    You would then select "Manage columns":

    And finally, you can check the box for the 'Tags' column to have it added:

    The columns won't stick when navigating away from these areas, but we do have a request for this ability that our product team is planning to implement. You can follow along with that request here:

    @Jenny T, I'm not finding an existing request for a Tags column being added to Recurring Reminders in the Spending Plan (Bill/Income/Subscription/Transfer Reminders). Feel free to create one so users can vote on it! I believe this request is referring to transactions, not reminders.
