Categorizing Pending Transactions on a Credit Card causes transactions to disappear

I'd be happy to have duplicate transactions that I can delete, but transactions being deleted by a back end server process is worrisome?
Speaking with an agent, they told me that they can see a few transactions that didn't properly flow, but they couldn't give me the details .. wait . .these are my transactions.

I'll pass on the feedback about it, unfortunately we are still having the same issue as an open alert.
This is pretty sloppy software I'd say .. .this needs to get resolved

I’m really sorry for the experience you had with our Support Team. After reviewing the interaction, I’d be frustrated too, and I can see why it left you feeling discouraged. Quicken Simplifi should work reliably for you, and disappearing transactions are not expected. I’ve passed this along to our leadership team for review and coaching.
With that, we'd be happy to take a look at the issue you're experiencing. As just mentioned, transactions should not be disappearing from Quicken Simplifi for any reason (unless you are intentionally deleting them), and I can also confirm that editing transactions while they're in a 'pending' state should be no different than when they're 'cleared'.
To help narrow down the issue, please provide some additional insight:
- Is the issue happening with a certain bank, or are you seeing it with multiple banks?
- Is the issue happening with a certain account, or are you seeing it with multiple accounts?
- What types of edits are you making to the transactions while they're pending, i.e., are you just changing the category, or are you also editing the date or making other changes?
- For the bank or account where this is happening, does the issue occur every time or just occasionally?
