Totally confused with the name

Ok, maybe it's just me but I've been totally confused by the name "Quicken Business and Personal". Personally, I think it was a mistake to name the product that.

I've seen notices for Quicken Business and Personal in my email and I have just briefly glanced over them and deleted them because I thought this was just a way to have us 'upgrade' to "Quicken Business". I wasn't until recently that I began to question if Quicken Business and Personal was a different product from Quicken Business.

I finally asked AI to explain this to me and AI responds that these are actually different products. Quicken Business and Personal is an extension to Quicken Simplifi while Quicken Business is the actual Quicken Business product.

How confusing!!!

I had no idea that Quicken Business and Personal was not Quicken Business. I had to research and ask AI to figure out that Quicken Business and Personal was actually Quicken Simplifi + Business extensions.

Why didn't you call it Quicken Simplifi + Business??? It would have immediately let me know that this is a product built on Simplifi and then extended with business features?

I have to agree with you on the confusion. When one hears Quicken Business & Personal, it could easily be confused with the original version now called Quicken Classic Business & Personal! When it first came out, I thought they had discontinued the Classic version since they gave it the same name, but both are available.

According to this page: https://www.quicken.com/why-quicken/ , there are now four products and five versions:

Quicken Simplifi

Quicken Business & Personal (Based on Simplifi)

Quicken Classic (Deluxe and Premier) Edit: They actually have a starter version too not mentioned on the above page.

Quicken Classic Business & Personal

It makes me wonder if they plan to phase out the Quicken Classic Business & Personal or if they will be rebranding Simplifi as Quicken at some point. This is just pure conjecture from me.

Complicated for sure. Quicken Simplifi + Business would be clearer and less confusing.
