I can connect to Freedom Mortgage and the amount comes in correctly, but the account reflects as a positive balance instead of a negative balance. I have tried reconnecting. How do I make this show correctly?
Gosh. Did you check in Settings:Accounts to make sure it is set up as a liability account or loan account and not a bank account? Just brainstorming.
Hello @BlurrVT,
Thank you for letting us know you're seeing this issue. To clarify, is the balance is correct except for the fact that it's showing as a positive number instead of as money owed? When did you first notice this issue? Was it previously reflecting the balance correctly? Are there any pending transactions which might explain the discrepancy?
I look forward to your reply!
having the same issue with my freedom mortgage (the second one) - balance is correct but positive (showing my total mortgage debt as positive in liabilities section
Hello @superman4492,
Thank you for reaching out! Can you please verify if resetting your account connection works to resolve the issue you are seeing here: https://support.simplifi.quicken.com/en/articles/4857199-when-and-how-to-reset-your-account-connections#h_037ac19bf9
If it does not, can you provide the following information to better assist us? You may feel free to DM me this information if you prefer.
We will also need logs to be sent:
@SRC54 Hi, yes, it it set up as a liability account and shows correctly in the liability section.
@Coach Kristina Yes, that is correct. It is the correct balance, but positive instead of negative. I first noticed this issue when I deleted the old, non-working, connection and added this connection. The old connection was manual because Freedom Mortgage was one of the 'problem' connections for you all and stopped working some time back. I have tried resetting this connection as well. This is the same issue as @superman4492, so it does not appear to be isolated to me.
Same issue here. I was following the other thread where Freedom mortgage wasn’t updating properly and saw that it was marked as fixed so I readded it. Removing and re-adding doesn’t resolve the issue.
Hello @BlurrVT and @BudgetJunkie,
Thanks for the replies! Can you provide the information I asked for previously in this thread? This will allow us to determine what specifically is going on here and how to proceed.
@Coach Jon I have sent the required information in a DM. Thank you so much for your speedy responses!
Thank you for the information! We do have a new alert you can follow as our team works toward a resolution for this issue:
We currently have no ETA to provide on when a resolution can be expected, but we will post updates as soon as we do!
