gm financial auto is still not working but the noteification you are working on it is gone
Hello @sgrnspan,
Thanks for reaching out! From our side, I can see that you are receiving an FDP-106 error when trying to connect to GM Financial Auto Loan. Can you let us know if you are trying to add the account for the first time in Quicken Simplifi? Or are you trying to update an existing account already within Quicken Simplifi? For the latter, I would see if the following steps work to resolve the issue:
Let us know how this goes!
@Coach Jon I'm having the same issue. I executed the instructions in you comment. I'm still getting the fdp-106 error.
Hello @geewiz2k1,
Thank you for reaching out as well! Can you please let us know if you are trying to add the account for the first time in Quicken Simplifi? Or are you trying to update an existing account already within Quicken Simplifi? Can you also please provide a screenshot of the error message from your side?
Hello @Coach Jon,
I guess now that I have changed my account to manual this would be me trying to connect a new account.
It has been about a week or so since the account stopped working and started giving this error.
Thanks for the reply! Please provide the following information to better assist us. Feel free to send this via DM to me if you prefer:
We will also need logs to be sent:
@Coach Jon
Same issue here. In fact I recall the simplifi software says they are working on it when I last tried to sync GM financial yesterday or this AM. FYI this was a pre existing GM account I had added since day 1 of starting with Simplifi and had been manually asking it to sync since I had two factor auth and needed to satisfy that before it could successfully auto sync, since auto sync with 2 factor wasn't working in the past from Simplifi.
Thank you for the requested information! Were you able to send the logs I requested as well? Let us know!
@Coach Jon I do not see a send feedback option under the profile menu.
Never mind, I got it. Sorry for the delay.

Thank you!
My GM Financial account started working again Tuesday 2/10/2026. I assume this has been resolved since it has been connecting and updating all week.
