Broken connection with MIT Federal Credit Union - request-body-field-unsupported (edited)
MIT account with MIT Federal Credit Union has been unable to connect to with Simplifi for the last 8 days. Before that, the connection has been fine for many months. Most recently it asked me to update my credentials, which I did, but now it is giving this error:
"We are unable to connect to MIT Federal Credit Union at this time. Care Code: request-body-field-unsupported"
I'm wondering if MIT FCU changed their interface/system behind the scenes and it broke the method Simplifi was using to connect to it? Please let me know if this is a known issue or whether there is a fix.

Hello @trewbux,
Thank you for reaching out! I can see the "request-body-field-unsupported" error you are receiving from our side as well. I can see that this started today, and that before this, you were receiving either an FDP-103 error or an FDP-185 error when trying to connect. Let's see if the following steps work to resolve the issue you are seeing:
- Make all of the accounts with the bank manual by following the steps here.
- Once you see the account(s) listed in the Manual Accounts section under Settings > Accounts, go back through the Add Account flow to reconnect to the bank.
- If the connection is successful, carefully link the account(s) found to your existing Quicken Simplifi account(s) by following the steps here.
Let us know how this goes! If the issue persists, please provide a screenshot of the error you are receiving from your end, along with sending logs.
- Log in to the Quicken Simplifi Web App.
- Select Profile from the left-hand navigation bar.
- With the Profile menu open, hold down the Option key for Mac or the Alt key for Windows, and then click Send Feedback.
- Leave all boxes checked, add a brief description of the issue, and then click Send.
