Lost my accounts
I was trying to reconnect to my bank, but it wouldn't let me connect to online accounts to my existing accounts in Simplifi. So, I deleted the institution with hopes of recreating it. But now my Simplifi data for those accounts is gone. Years of categorized transactions. All my recurring billing. Everything.
Is there anything I can do to restore these?

Quicken support confirmed my data couldn't be recovered, but they were willing to give me a refund on my $70 subscription I recently renewed. Very sad and frustrating for sure, but I'll find a desktop product I can backup.

So sorry to hear this happened to you. I did it once when I was new to Simplifi. Fortunately, I was able to create a new account and import my transactions from Classic.
For everyone out there, NEVER delete an institution while there are accounts tied to it. Make those accounts manual first. Then you can try reconnecting them.
You can safely delete Institutions when there are no accounts listed under them. Quicken probably ought to change the confirmation box with a warning in RED that any accounts connected and all transactions in those accounts will be deleted. Then they should make the person type in the word DELETE in order to do it.
I just checked the verbiage with my Zillow account (an easy one to recreate if I had messed up), and I discover a benign little box that does say it won't fix connection problems and will delete your connected accounts and transactions. But the delete button is the default!!! Cancel should be the default. And it is way too calm a confirmation.
