Everbank dual factor is sending a code to the wrong phone number

When Simplifi tries to update our Everbank accounts it asks to select the number to send the verification code to, but it always defaults to the first number regardless of which one is selected. This basically makes it useless. How can I fix that?

    Hello @StephenFarnsworth,

Thanks for reaching out! That is certainly a strange issue. Are you able to try updating the multi-factor authentication information on the bank's website to see if that resolves the issue you're seeing? I would also see if trying from a different web browser/incognito mode works. Let us know!

  • I tried Chrome, Edge and Incognito, but it still didn't send the code to the selected phone number. I am going to see if i can reorder the numbers on the bank site to see if that works.

  • FYI - in case others have the issue, the number the bank sends the code to is the "home" number not the mobile number by default if they are different, so regardless of what is selected on the simplifi app, the bank only sends then code to the home number.

    Hello @StephenFarnsworth,

Thanks for letting us know! I am glad you were able to figure out what was occurring here with the MFA code on your bank's side.
